Hey there, Iā€™m Anna Wardlaw!

I am the Doula behind Beloved Birth Services! I have been a birth worker since September of 2021. I started out my Doula training at age 17, and am now 21 and have made my way into school for midwifery! Though I am a student midwife, I also LOVE supporting families as their Doula in all birthing settings! I have so much wonder and amazement for women and the way God designed birth to be. My hope here at Beloved Birth Services is for you to be advocated for, have heartfelt personalized care in your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and to feel empowered by your birth!

My experience:

As mentioned earlier, I trained with Global Birth Educators in September 2021 and obtained my doula certification in 2022 after attending three certifying births. Since then, I have had the privilege of assisting and supporting over 50 families during their labors and deliveries.

These experiences have included a variety of birth types: VBAC, unmedicated, medicated, induction, planned cesarean, and unplanned cesarean births, as well as births in hospitals, birth centers, and at home. I have witnessed the beauty in every form of birthing and have gained invaluable insights along the way. Each birth is unique, and I am both grateful and humbled by the knowledge that there is always more to learn, as birth is inherently complex.

Additionally, I am certified in Basic Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation through the American Red Cross as of February 2024.
